I’m writing about travels and anything else I find interesting at the moment. I enjoy thinking about politics, sports, language, and monkey business.

I recently graduated from college and am about to begin a fellowship in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan where I’ll be teaching English at a university.

This blog’s title comes from the refrain in one of my favorite books, Slaughterhouse 5: “everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.” If you want to know more context read it!

This site is a place for some pictures and essays. I’ll share posts as frequently as I can/want. In addition, I’ll have a monthly summary post around the beginning of each month summarizing what I did the last month.
