Donald Trump has condemned the controversial Olympics opening ceremony in Paris, calling it “a disgrace.”

Drag queens, a transgender model, and a singer dressed as the Greek god of wine portrayed Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” at the controversial Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony, which depicts the moment Jesus Christ announced an apostle would betray him.

In response, Paris 2024 organizer Anne Descamps has issued an apology to Catholics and other Christian groups for any offense caused by these religious portrayals.

Commenting on the controversial ceremony, former President Donald Trump told Fox, “I thought the opening ceremony was a disgrace, actually. I thought it was a disgrace.”

Regarding the 2028 Olympics opening ceremony in Los Angeles, Trump added, “We won’t be having a Last Supper portrayed the way they did the other night. I mean, they can do certain things. I thought it was terrible. Look, I’m for everybody. I’m very open-minded, but what they did was a disgrace.”

Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., also criticized the director’s intentions, calling them “satanic.” On X, he wrote, “My mom was an Olympian (Czech Natl Ski Team), and as a kid, we would be excited for weeks leading up to the games.” He then repeated the debunked claim that his late mother, Ivana Trump, was on Czechoslovakia’s 1972 Olympic team, and added, “Now with the predictable (& seemingly satanic to me) drag queen opening ceremonies and endless BS, no one I know even thinks about it beyond maybe watching some highlights.”
